The purpose of having commitment to training and development is to ensure that employee's skills and knowledge are developed and fully utilised and employee’s potential is realised and developed. The aim is not only to meet personal objectives but also to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to meet the organisational objectives and contribute to achievement of the overall statement.
